Valerie was keeping busy. For the last year or so she spent her time going from Seer to Psychic to anyone else who had fortune telling abilities. As a witch she understood the strength of a prophecy. If something was written in the stars no amount of magic or strength could change it. One person would be no match for fate. That is what the magical community was now up against, fate.
As an experienced witch she often spent time alone. Keeping to herself while dabbling in her craft. Her pull however lead her to another witch, a Charmed One, Prudence Halliwell. Despite the two being on opposite sides, they often helped each other to reach the same goal. Both sides wanted balance.
After leaving a psychic, a natural born psychic, Valerie recieved an intriguing reading. She was given valuable information that would be beneficial to the side of evil. The underworld would be much wiser once receiving the information she obtained. The fact of the matter was, she didn't want them to have it. This time the other side would be ahead. By just how much she wasn't sure..
After reciting a spell, Valerie went back to putting on her makeup. Gazing deeply into the mirror before her.

Prue Halliwell was never really a believer in psychics. For the longest time she believed it was all a hoax, a way for people to make money off of other more helpless people. As a young woman she became a witch, as did her sisters. At the time, her youngest sister Phoebe Halliwell had gained the power of foresight. To see into the future. Phoebe would at times get premonitions of the past.
Prue recalled one time when she travelled to the future to discover she was a workaholic who had given up her family for her career. Her younger sister Piper was divorced and raising a child, Melinda. In the same time her youngest sister Phoebe Halliwell walked death row. She would be burned at a stake for being who she was. This was due to the time, nobody in that future accepted witchcraft. It was seen as a threat to the public. Witches did not help they harmed others.
That was a terrible scare. It was a valuable lesson at the same time. Today, Prue Halliwel encouraged her children to be proud of who they were. Leaving work, Prue Halliwell went to a nearby cafe. She ordered a vegetarian sandwich which she ate much faster then she imagined possible. She was hungry no doubt from the 6am shift.
That's when lights surrounded her, purple ones and she couldn't imagine why this was. Her family was fine.. Piper, Phoebe, or Paige knew to call before using magic so publically.

For once Valerie was not hidden deep in the underworld, in her own hidden lair. She was in a more exposed area in the underworld. Somewhere anyone could easily find her, given that person knew the underworld.
She finished putting on her makeup and placed everything to the side. She looked good... Dameon would be head over heels in love when he saw her. When was the last time they met? Went on a date?. Valerie couldn't for the likes of her remember..
She turned around in her swirly chair and faced Prudence Halliwell. The chair was similar to a bar stool that turned, magical of course. Valerie crossed her left leg over her right one and looked curiously at the woman before her. "Hello Prudence". She spoke honestly and straightforward. "I'm sure you're wondering why I have summoned you here today". Valerie kept her eyes locked on Prue's, her facial expression concerned for the younger woman.
The two had a very professional yet caring relationship. Partly based on their admiration for one another and the experience that both witches gained over the years. What one witch knew the other could certainly benefit from. "I could feel tension coming from you Halliwells...Well. Not you specifically but the Halliwell line." Valerie was taking her time breaking the news to Prue. Curious to see if the former Charmed One had any information of her own concerning the prophecy.

Prudence Halliwell, former Charmed One stood in the underworld. This was not the place she wanted to be at. She never expected coming here, and now as old as she was she worried about how much energy it would take her to escape. Now that the power of three or for the sake of it, the power of four no longer existed the only powers they had were individual ones. Coming back from the dead made Prue a witch-lighter, therefore giving her whitelighter powers too. Still, she considered herself more witch.
As Valerie turned in her chair, out of instinct Prue raised her hand. She was ready to attack the older witch if or when she found out the information. Prue was not stupid, she knew this news was bad. "Did you harm one of my sisters?" Prue said seriously and in a whisper.
Prue's sisters meant the world to her. So if something happened or was going to happen she needed to know. She would do everything in her power to stop it.
The part about tension didn't add up at all. Relating to her sisters that was, the girls were all on good terms. Perhaps a little more busy with their careers but nothing out of the unusual. "Halliwell line?. What are you talking about?!". Prue raised her eyebrow, "and what does this have to do with me?". Prue's patience was wearing out.

Valerie watched Prudence get ready to use her power on her. Though the witch knew Prue well enough and if she did try to harm her the consequences would be serious. The fact that Valerie was a highly skilled witch meant that she could deflect Prue's attack. She could go up against a Charmed One and live, perhaps all three.
'Don't test me Prue". Valerie now stood up and walked back and forth. "If I wanted to hurt you I would have.. Like in the past". She commented In a reminder sort of way.
"Now back to business.. If you would realize I'm trying to help you". Valerie walked over to a small vial, there was a potion inside. "This neat little liquid could help you leave here.. BUT. I need your cooperation now Prudence. Your sisters are not harmed and they will not be, well, not physically. Your worry should be placed somewhere else". Valerie eyed Prue. "Common darling your a smart witch. Who is the target here? Who are your innocents?". The mere fun was trying to see a Charmed One work at the mystery on her own.

Prue was in a tough position. Valerie was a dark witch and demon, which meant she was literally the opposite of Prue, evil. On the other hand Prue had nothing against Valerie as the demon had not harmed her or her family. This toying with the information was simply annoying.
Prue sighed quietly as she looked around to take a seat. If she could give Valerie all her attention, maybe she would get all the information she needed. That would be ideal, a bargain on both ends.
Listening intently, Prudence tried to think of who would be the next target, her husband maybe?. That could not be because the Elders had returned both of them. If they knew he would die, why return him?..
Victor Bennett, her father was still alive so he was a very real option.. The only people left on her list now we're her children. Prue could feel anger wash over her like a shower. "My children!, You will harm my CHILDREN!".

Valerie smiled back at Prue Halliwell. The witch had caught on. It was indeed her children who were in trouble this time. The Halliwell children that was. Valerie was yet to figure out which children were the target of this new attack but it was coming.
Nodding she spoke normally. "Now Prue I know how much family means to you. How much the innocents mean to you". Valerie knew that was one of the many reasons Prue was sent back to the sisters, she had done so much good for the bigger grand design.
"I'm afraid the first attack has happened, and it has been successful" Valerie spoke honestly as she waved her hand. "One of the children has died.. Honestly I can't tell if it was done by a good being or an evil one but they will strike again". The dark witch shrugged. "I suggest you scry or do whatever you have to to find this person before they find your children". It was odd how Valerie was in this position. She secretly knew that by helping Prue, the former Charmed One would also need to return the information.
Valerie eyed Prue, looking for another sign of anger but none surfaced. Licking her lip she asked curiously "Will you have the strength to face this attacker if it's one of your own?" She wondered. It was basically the same as asking if Prue would one day vanquish her.
